1.  On the field fluctuations in the diffraction pattern of focusing systems

There are considered the amplitude and phase fluctuations of the field in the focal plane of the focusing system, when a was with the field fluctuations falls on it. Plots illustrating the distribution of dispersions of amplitude and phase of the field along coordinate axes in the focal plane are given. There are analyzed a general case when both the amplitude and phase fluctuation of the field are present in the incident wave, as well as cases when it is possible to be restricted by regard of only either the phase or the amplitude fluctuations of the field in the antenna aperture. It is shown that in the latter cases, for determination of dispersions of the phase and amplitude fluctuation of die field in the focal plane, it is possible to use the same pictures with tk corresponding replacement of curves and conclusions accompanying them.

The influence of the atmospheric inhomogeneities on the directive gain of the self-focusing antenna array (SFAA) at description of the atmosphere by the theory of the local-isotropic turbulence is considered. There are analyzed two cases when a size of the SFAA subaperture is respectively more or less than the turbulence scale of the medium. It is shown mat the results of the meat directive gain estimation for the two cases are well conformed qualitatively with the analogous estimates obtained at the atmosphere description wife the help of the Gaussian correlation function of its refractivity index

The article is devoted to the potentialities of the method of radioacoustic sounding when monitoring the vertical structure of the wind in the atmosphere boundary layer (ABL). A review of methods for radioacoustic measurements of the horizontal wind velocity and direction is based on the developments of the authors and their experience in this field as well as on the world experience. It is emphasized that the radioacoustic method for sounding the wind in ABL is perspective, since for the RAS equipment, there are not characteristic neither high levels of the electromagnetic pollution of the environment like for radiolocation wind profilers - radars nor loss of the serviceability at ligh levels of the ambient acoustic noise like for acoustic wind profilers - sodars.

This paper presents physical and mathematical model and investigation of electromagnetic properties of composite material made of straight and curved conducting resonance inclusions placed into isotropic media and forming periodic lattice. The effective constitutive parameters of the composite material are found. It is revealed that on resonance frequency real parts of permittivity and permeability of such media can assume simultaneously negative values. The problem of reflection and transmission of plane electromagnetic wave through a sequence of layers made of such composite material is solved, numerical results are presented

By using the approach that is based on applying the Kontorovich-lebedev integral transforms method and a semi-inversion method an excitation boundary problem for a cone with periodical longitudinal slots provided that cone placed at an impedance plane is investigated. It is showed that the problem under consideration is equivalent to solving a system of linear algebraic equations for Fourier coefficients of electromagnetic field components. Analytical solutions are obtained for a semi- transparent cone and special plane impedance. Impedance plane effects are studied

The decision of a task in view is carried out for and the fields appropriate to two subsystems on which the system of the equations of the Maxwell for environments is divided. Integrated characteristics of a field are determined from the decision of systems of the linear algebraic equations received by a method of method of Riman-Hilbert problem , for a case when the smallest parameter decreases in inverse proportion to a square n->infinity. Programs (fort) with construction of diagrams are made. The analysis of the diagrams in part given in work, allows to establish influence of parameters of structure and corners of fall of a wave on anomalies in an absent-minded field for each concrete case

In paper antenna array from finite number of the elements, which are exited by a videopulse is observed. The model for calculation of radiated fields of antenna taking consideration of mutual coupling between elements is proposed. A directed characteristics analysis of the retrodirected systems, Van-Atta array, from finite number of elements and wave form of radiated and reradiated signals are investigated in case of excitation by a videopulse. Recommendations to decrease mutual coupling is proposed. The case of useful influence on characteristics of a radiated pulse signal is considered

13.  SCATTERING AMLITUDE ERROR ESTIMATION FOR MOMENT'S METHOD IN L2 FOR 2-D SCREENS

The scattering amplitude error estimation problem for practically used MoM solutions in L2 function space for scattering from 2-D screens is addressed. To this end, a rigorous Galerkin solution in L2 to logarithmically singular and hypersingular EFIE is used as a reference solution for scattering amplitude error estimation by benchmarking. This one requires substantially lower computational efforts than using of the same MoM algorithm but with very high mesh density as a reference solution. To many, the approach helps to avoid unpredictable errors due to the ill-conditioning connected with high mesh density for any MoM solution to the EFIE in L2. Using the approach, the asymptotic decay rate of scattering amplitude error is investigated for some MoM algorithms widely used in practice

A study has been carried out on the transition of train of pulses via a weakly nonlinear oscillator. Conditions of destruction of such trains as a result of appearance of chaotic instabilities have been analyzed. The electromagnetic properties of a finite periodic sequence of the thick grates of dielectric bars are investigated. The grates are identified with the homogeneous anisotropic layer of an appropriate thickness, in order to generalize, the layers which anisotropic properties of both permittivity and permeability are employed. The sequence scattering .coefficients are determined in analytical form using the circuit theory and the matrix functions techniques. Physical analysis of the frequency, angle and interference dependencies of the scattered field amplitude is carried out.

The Gaussian beam scattering on bounded periodical sequence of thick grates of dielectric bars are investigated. Identification of discrete structure with appropriate thickness homogeneous anisotropic layer was carried out for define sequence basic element transmission matrix. The sequence scattering coefficients were written down via Mougin polynomials. The effects of form distortion, beam splitting into several beams, side shift of beam axe were shown. Their correlation with scattering coefficients phase and module angle dependence of separate grates was established.

Near-field and far-field two-parameter expansions in terms of Laguerre-Gaussian orthogonal basis functions are proposed, which take into account the effect of impedance feed borders. 18.  Electrons in superlattice with continuous conduction band edge

In this paper, the energy spectrum of electrons is investigated for the superlattice with continuous conduction band edge. The comparison with conventional superlattice has been realized. It is shown that in the investigated structure the energy spectrum has band structure which is caused by periodic position-dependent effective-mass. Moreover, position-dependent effective-mass leads to additional effective potential. The Bragg reflection for electrons in ballistic limit can be observed in the superlattice with continuous conduction band edge. It can be used for effective Bragg confinement of carriers. For the first time the investigations have been carried out for the case when the superlattice without band offsets has finite number of periods. The obtained results shed light on new applications of the investigated structures for THz frequency range

There are two region of negative differential conductivity of current - voltage characteristic are shown . The condition lead to oscillation due both region and oscillation efficiency have been determined.

Double and threefold compounds of nitrides AIN/AIGaN resonance tunnel diodes using height of barriers are concedered. In the quantum well of diodes there are a plenty energy levels. Electron energy levels in quantum well with variable structure of interconnections AlGaN are determined. The current - voltage characteristics of resonance - tunnel diodes with number of levels in a quantum wall up to five has been calculated. The RTD can have up to five sites with negative differential conductance are demonstrated. The possible RTD oscillation efficiency on all sites of negative differential conductivity at difference barriers and quantum well's material are determined.

The impact ionisation in RSCA diodes is considered on the basis of nitrides InN, GaN, AIN. Possible overvoltage on diodes and possible efficiency of generation are analyzed. It is shown, that at development of a impact ionisation in RSCA diodes in correspondence with the diffusion theory the considered materials are perspective for RSCA diodes for operation in centimeter and millimeter wavebands (voltage over threshold 3 ... 5 at efficiency up to 11 ... 13 %)
